CIE believes that brokers of the future will have to interact on the Internet to stay competitive. CIE is an Internet Broker. The paradigm of any marketplace is that demand seeks supply, and the quantity of supply sets the freight rate. Supply is readily available on the Internet, demand is not. Brokers need more than a web site to reach those shippers using the Internet, they need an interactive tool like our website.
At CIE, the Agent does the front office work, the Broker the back office work, just like other broker/agent programs. Here is how CIE is different than the average broker:
1. CIE pays their Agents more of the commission than any other Broker. Agents of the nation's biggest brokers can in fact double their commission income by switching brokers.
2. CIE vends new shipper relationships to its Agents at no cost to the Agent. Our website is where shippers can name their own freight rate. Our website's central computer sends every load posted to the Agent nearest the destination of the freight for their rate approval or rejection, and booking.
3. Agents communicate with their broker, by FAX or Email - their choice. An Agent enters his or her booking, and sends as an E mail for the broker to contract the truck. Infinity Broker-lite software is available for the Agent to work in a virtual paperless environment.

Our website offers return loads - loads to your location. Return loads are the easiest to move, meaning faster turnaround time and less deadhead, to both the Broker and the Trucker.
As an Agent, you get to work with the shippers who appear on our website direct. If a shipper has a frequency that matches your lanes, you as an Agent can solicit that shipper directly, without booking through our website. Yes, you can back-solicit our website. Remember, shippers use our website as just another tool in the toolbox, to accomplish their corp. goals, there is no exclusivity of shippers to CIE or our website, except when they post a load. CIE and you - the Agent - get the load for 1 hour.
The Philosophy; Trucking is a commodity and the marketplace will determine the rates. Shippers will access the marketplace any way they see fit. Brokers and Agents must seek relationships with those shippers who use the Internet as a tool to e-commerce their freight. Trucking companies spend more time & money looking for return loads than outbound freight. CIE has no shipper clients of its own - CIE DOES NOT compete with its Agents.. CIE only supports Agents and their books of business, our website is designed to help the Agent build their businesses.
THE PROGRAM CIE and the Agent split realized commission - 60% to the Agent - the balance 40% to the Broker.
Note, the Agency Agreement is non-exclusive. You can send only the business you want through CIE. CIE is designed to take away your unprofitable paperwork so you can grow without adding too many employees. Naturally, brokers find that the non-profitable activity of brokering is the paperwork, because time lost in its preparation means time lost on the phone, talking with shippers and carrier. Working as an Agent of CIE, means that load production and profit increase when paperwork goes away.
